I was gifted the new Fenty Skin collection and have been testing it for the past 3 weeks for you Gems! Watch the video and read my full impressions below:

:sparkles: I was super impressed with the minimal packaging. There are no caps to remove, you just twist to open and it makes everything a lot less messy.

:sparkles: I’ve noticed a lot of people complaining about the use of fragrance in this line. You’ll definitely smell it as soon as you apply the products, especially the moisturizer, but it’s not as intense as I thought it would be. It didn’t irritate my skin but if you have skin that’s sensitive to fragrance, I would think twice about using this.

:droplet:Total Cleanser – this is a 2-in-1 cleanser and make-up remover. I genuinely love it as a cleanser because it lathers well and doesn’t strip my skin. My face feels hydrated and supple after the cleanse but I will say, as a make-up remover, it’s just ok. It removed my foundation but didn’t work as in removing my eye make-up so I’d recommend trying an oil cleanser to remove makeup and use this as a second cleanse.

:droplet: Fat Water – this is a 2-in-1 toner-serum combo that’s supposed to improve the look of dark spots and fight shine without drying out your skin. I can’t really speak to the dark spot claims just yet but I will definitely say that as someone with very oily skin, it helps a lot with controlling the shine. As a toner, it removes all the remaining impurities on the surface of the skin. It’s great for daytime but for my nighttime routine, I like to use serums more targeted to my skin issues.

:droplet:Hydra Vizor Moisturizer – this is a 2-in-1 moisturizer and sunscreen (SPF 30) and I love it as part of my morning routine. It’s super lightweight and great for combination/oily skin. If your skin is more on the dry side, I’d recommend using something a bit more hydrating like hyaluronic acid for extra moisture. I love that it doesn’t leave a white cast on my face and it wears really well under my make-up.

Overall I love this line as part of my daytime routine. It seems to be more targeted to combination/oily skin rather than really dry, which is something to keep in mind.

Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried this line yet and what your experience has been!
