Spring is in the air (or at least in my head) 🌸

Spring is in the air (or at least in my head) 🌸. I'm ready for warmer weather so I've been inspired by pastel spring colors. For this look, I paired a beautiful pale pink cable knit cardigan with pastel yellow trousers. I then accessorized the look with a pink bucket hat and white pointed toe booties and finally finished it off with gold accessories.

It's been a while since @maximsaidso and I blessed your feed with a photoshoot challenge! So here it goes, part 4 of our ongoing challenge - as always, VOTE on your favorite photos in my stories.
We were sitting around the house last week, sheltering from a snowstorm and brainstorming what photo challenge we should do next. "I have a blazer in my closet that I haven't worn in almost a year. I want to wear that for the day" - said Maxim. Or something along those lines. He added a simple beige @iiseseoul t-shirt, linen pants from @bonobos and skipped on shoes to complete his "hippie professor" look. I matched him with a houndstooth @modcloth blazer and mini skirt, @tibi blouse and @looks.like.summer knee-high boots for my "stern but friendly librarian" look.

For the location, we moved some furniture around, uncluttered a corner by our bookshelf and went to business. After all, both librarians and professors hang out in a library, right?

From there, we didn't take this photoshoot too seriously and were goofing around while snapping photos of each other. Books also made perfect props!

Adulting isn't easy and life can get overwhelming more often than not. Between maintaining a balanced personal life and staying on top of the work I need to get done in my professional life, I rarely have a moment to stay still. And even when I do, I feel like my mind is racing at 100 miles an hour. In the past, I've thought of meditation as an activity reserved for those who have a lot of time on their hands. Silly, I know but now I fully understand that all it takes is just a few dedicated minutes out of your day to become a more mindful and focused person.
@Headspace is a meditation app that I've been using daily to help me stay centered. I like to take "me" time first thing in the morning before anything else. I head over to my cozy nook surrounded by plants which brings me even more calm. I take a few minutes doing breathing exercises and going through a mindfulness session guided by @headspace in-app instructors. It's easy to get started and most importantly stick with the daily routine.
If you are looking to start your own meditation journey - check out Headspace's new @Netflix series called "Headspace Guide to Meditation". It's an awesome resource for anyone who is curious and wants to learn more about meditation at their own pace. Each episode highlights a different mindfulness technique that aids in the practice of meditation—focusing on subjects such as stress, anger, and letting go—and ends with a guided meditation at the finale of every chapter.

Clean Eating
As the saying goes, "you are what you eat". I was craving some actual greens today instead of vegan burgers and fries that my diet usually consists of 🤭 and @sakaralife delivered. These plant based breakfast, lunch and dinner deliveries are well balanced and packed with nutritious ingredients. But I have to say my favorite part is that I've been spending less time cooking in the kitchen. It's been a win-win for me!
