It’s Monday and we are starting the week off right by drinking more water! Staying hydrated contributes to everything from glowing skin to helping with breakouts, reducing headaches, joints and kidney health and many more health benefits.

If you are someone who doesn’t like the taste of plain water, try infusing your water with fruits and herbs. I’ve recently started doing this and absolutely love the taste and it helped me stay accountable and drink more water daily.

Here are some of my tips on how to start infusing your water at home:

1) I change the water daily and challenge myself and Maxim to drink 1.6 gallons of water a day. 8 glasses of water a day is about 0.5 gallons so that works out to a recommended minimum plus some. I use this glass beverage dispenser (LINK to PURCHASE) and leave it on my countertop, but you can also keep it in the fridge.

2) I’ve tried strawberries, blackberries and lemons with ginger. But you can also try mint, watermelons, cucumbers, pineapples, basil, peaches or any other fresh or frozen fruits that you like.

3) I’ve upcycled these clear wine bottles into no-fuss water bottles for me and Maxim. To tell them apart, I’ve tied a piece of twine to one of the bottles. You can also add ice and use glass or metal water bottles to keep your water cooler.

What are some of the tips and tricks that you use to stay hydrated during the day?
