Today, I wanted to check-in with you Gems and share an update on my mindfulness meditation with Headspace that I started a few weeks ago. If I’ve learned anything over the course of this past year it’s that creating a daily routine for yourself is easy but sticking to it is the hard part. Especially while working from home.
But the tides have been turning for me since I’ve started incorporating Headspace into my morning routine. Instead of waking up and rushing into my day, I now wake up with gratitude that I get to see a new day while slowing down and taking a moment of stillness for myself. I no longer have anxiety in the mornings feeling overwhelmed by everything I need to tackle for the day but rather an understanding that I need to seek balance and work at my own pace. Because the work will get done! It’s truly a beautiful feeling.
