Do you sometimes feel like you’re being bombarded with ads and brand promos from every corner of the internet? I sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed by all the marketing emails I receive from the vast amount of brands whose newsletters I sign up for just to get that discount code they usually have for first-time subscribers. Guilty as charged!

Although I would consider myself a loyal consumer of some core brands that I’ve grown to love over the years, I also really enjoy discovering new brands with a unique story, aesthetic and point of view. One such brand is Amanda Wakeley. Founded in 1990, the Amanda Wakeley brand is recognized for making clothes for the woman on the go and taking her through every aspect of life’s journey with effortless style. The pieces are beautifully cut for an impeccable fit with sound attention to detail. She even has the Dutchess of Sussex herself, Megan Markle, swooning over her designs. I had the pleasure of partnering with Amanda Wakeley on a project where I styled 3 different looks with my own little twist.

Starting with this beautiful crepe-back satin pantsuit, what’s there not to love? The green color is just stunning, the relaxed fit encourages movement and it’s the perfect take on sports luxe. There’s just something about a pantsuit that feels powerful and what I love most about this one, is how the glossy fabric sparkles in the sun.

Another piece that I wore was this chic and effortless wrap dress. I also couldn’t resist the high slit that gives it an ultra feminine flair. Amanda Wakeley’s designs are not only stunning but the construction of the garments seem to be well thought out too. The golden ribbon trimmings used on the cuffs adding jewelry-like detailing to make a statement was no mistake. I styled this dress with a black straw hat, cinched the waist with the iconic Amanda Wakeley judo belt and threw on my favorite t-strap high heel.

Lastly, this beautiful Violet Crepe Satin and Lace dress was probably my favorite piece. The color was vibrant and the combination of the luxe silk and delicate lace fabrics elevated this design. This is a dress full of romance and is fit for a Queen.

The Amanda Wakeley aesthetic and point of view is one that I can definitely align with. The pieces have a subtle sophistication that makes an impact without much fuss. They are made for women on the go who don’t want to compromise between functionality and style. And isn’t this what every woman deserves in 2019!
