Chain Belts – love them or don’t, they are here to stay. And if you’ve been following your girl here on IG, you know that they’re my absolute favorite accessories. They are versatile, pretty much go with any outfit, and unlike traditional belts, they are really easy to adjust to fit any waist. Today, I will show you 5 different ways you can style chain belts and what outfits they pair with best (but really, there are no wrong ways to wear them!) Drop your favorite style #1, #2, #3, #4 or #5 in the comments below and have a very Fashionable Friday!

Style #1

This gold chain belt with larger links and round pendants evenly spaced in-between links is the perfect statement piece to elevate any look. You can wrap it around your waist and leave the extra length of the chain hanging or you can loop it over for a cool effect.

Style #2

I love using chains from my handbags as belts as well. These two minimal gold chains added the perfect touch to this black floral slip dress. I always recommend keeping the chains simple when you’re pairing them with bold prints and textures.

Style #3

Here’s another larger link statement chain belt that is very versatile. There are two ends where you have the option to wrap around or let hang. I decided to do a big swoop around the front of the skirt one on top of the other. You can also do smaller loops around the waist or wrap them in opposite directions. There are so many styling options with this belt.

Style #4

This metal belt that looks just like your traditional leather belt is my absolute favorite. The styling options are a bit limited with this one but it fits perfectly through belt loops. I love wearing it with jeans, trousers, oversized blazers, waistcoats, etc. It’s very solid and works well with all those outfit options.

Style #5

What’s better than one chain belt? TWO chain belts! If you really want to make a statement, especially with a more minimal outfit like the one below, you can double up and layer your chain belts. The first one is a mixed metal vintage piece (silver and gold) with larger links and I paired it with a simpler silver chain to create a little contrast. All you have to do is wrap them around your waist and loop the extra pieces hanging on the side to create a beautiful design.

Happy Styling, Gems!
