Sweater & Pants: & Other Stories | Shoes: AGL | Bag: Elie Tahari

Fall weekends are the best! The air is crisp, summer heat is gone but full winter chill didn’t kick in yet, and the foliage is a stunning hue of oranges and yellows. What a better way to spend these fleeting weekends than to be outside!

What I’m wearing here is what I would call a quintessential fall look – a sweater paired with corduroy pants and combat boots. I like my Corduroys because the material is soft and stretchy. I typically look for that “boyfriend” oversized fit that is both easy and relaxed to wear. I pair these pants with a soft wool sweater , a definite fall-weather staple. This was a V-neck sweater that I actually wore backwards to show off my back and shoulders. Remember, there is no one way to wear a garment and a lot of items can be worn in a way that fits your style! Finally, I added combat boots to balance the softness of the pants & sweater which provides a bit of a rebellious edge to the whole look. And viola, you are ready to go from apple picking to drinking hot cider by the fireplace! Happy Fall dressing, Gems!
