I thought I would be so diligent with my blog but I keep scrambling to find time to post. So now I am all caught up. Hopefully I can keep up with myself.

When I saw this shirt at American Apparel, I instantly fell in love with the color. It might just be my new favorite color. I love the slight lift the shoulder pad gave to the shirt and the free material that I thought looked more lovely in the wind.

To emphasize the color of the shirt, I paired it with some pale colors. The pale pink and beige of the shorts from H&M seemed to go very well with it.

My nude pumps from Aldo never fail me and the elegant simplicity of it goes with just about everything. To keep with the pale colors, I wore a nude vintage clutch that I love so dearly.
Have a GREAT 4th of July weekend beauties!

This is my favorite sweater from Urban Outfitters that I decided to pair with some high-waisted black shorts from UO as well. I didn’t want the look to be so black and white, so I added a colorful vintage belt.

The low V-back really adds a feminine touch to the sweater that I adore and was instantly drawn to.

I added a lot of bracelets to complete the look along with the pink clutch and nude pumps from Aldo.

Im soo in love with Maxi skirts this summer…this one was a great find from urban outfitters and I am in love with it. I paired it with a cropped lace top from H&M and finished the look with Platform wooden sandals from Aldo and a vintage color blocked clutch for a pop of color.

I have been slacking when it comes to keeping up with posts and now I have to play catch up…I really do apologize.

This look is very vintage in my opinion, the pants are a great vintage find and the corset is from urban outfitters. I normally hate wearing heels lower than 5 inches but  I have owned these for YEARS and I still haven’t let them go.

I wanted to keep the look simple and elegant so I didn’t accessorize to much. I also added this nude satchel from zara.

I use to only love short body hugging skirts but I am now in love with semi-long over the knee flowy skirts, there’s just something so timeless and elegant about it.

I was very happy when I found this at H&M in the fall I grabbed it quickly and it’s just making an appearance out of my closet after months of hiding. I paired it with this white American Apparel cropped turtle neck top that adds a certain elegance in my opinion.

Vintage pieces are so classic and Timeless and I absolutely love this one of a kind vintage dress. It is easy and very feminine and the color is perfect for memorial day πŸ˜‰

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY πŸ˜‰
Love, Precious G(em)

Today was such a BEAUTIFUL day in NYC. The weather was gorgeous and I really hope it stays this way.

I am really loving the BRIGHT colors this season and I believe the brighter the better πŸ˜‰ so this tangerine skirt was perfect for my mood and I absolutely love the aesthetics of it…I am also absolutely in love with stripes and I truly believe these two pieces complemented each other very well.

I want to make it a point to not make this blog exclusively about Fashion because not only am I inspired by Fashion, I am also inspired by words spoken by great thinkers & other Randomness and it would be selfish of me not to share such inspirations with you..lol. so here’s something taken from Vanessa William’s ‘Colors of the Wind’
“You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You’ll learn things you never knew, you never knew” <—this definitely holds true to just about anyone. OPEN your minds and Judge LESS πŸ˜‰

I thought it would be fun to mix two extremely bright colors together namely the Yellow & the Blue but I didn’t want to look like a clown so I balanced out the brights with the black and I think it works very well. So here’s some fashion advice, when putting your outfits together, limit yourself to 3 different colors the MAX or else you stand the chance of a disaster. If you have brights paired together, be sure to tone it down by throwing in something neutral and you’ll be good to go πŸ˜‰
