Balance is a formula that I always try to apply when outfitting myself. Whether it be the balance of colors (I like to wear no more than 3 different colors at a time) or balance of patterns or textures, the formula just needs to be right. With this outfit, I chose my go-to sweater for whenever I want to be comfortable but still stylish (I think we all should have such sweaters in our closets). The neutral gray compliments anything it’s worn with and the slits on both sides add a bit of edge. I paired it with this perforated pencil skirt (my favorite silhouette) from H&M to obtain a more feminine look and add some texture. I finished off the look with my always reliable Sam Edelman T-Strap heels. These heels can literally be worn with absolutely anything and I really should give them a break soon since I wear them so much.
