I have very oily skin and up until maybe a year ago, I always used mattifying moisturizers to keep the oil in check but my skin still kept feeling thirsty. Once I started to focus on getting moisturizers that focused on hydration, I started noticing that my skin was producing less oil since it didn’t have to overcompensate for the lack of hydration. These are some of the moisturizers that’s been doing wonders for me.

Left to Right:

Korres – Hydra Biome Probiotic Superdose Face Mask

I like to use this mask at least 2 times a week because it feels so good on my skin.  It feeds dry skin, soothes redness, and promotes a balanced complexion.

H2O+ – Hydration Sensitive Gel Cleanser

This gel cleanser is so refreshing and it does a great job of removing makeup and impurities, leaving skin feeling hydrated and smooth.

La Mer – The Regenerating Serum

I only use this when I have big days where I need to look my absolute best since I never want it to run out. This supercharged serum helps skin boost natural collagen and revs up visible renewal so I like to use it at night so it has time to work its magic.

La Mer – The Moisturizing Soft Cream

I use this soft cream in the morning to start my day and it’s super lightweight and hydrating. Whenever I wear it under my makeup I can always still feel my skin tingling (in a good way) and my skin feels quenched from within.

Face by Camille Rose – Daily Brightening Facial Moisturizer

This is another amazing moisturizer that I use in rotation. It’s infused with florals and fruits that hydrates and protects from the elements.

H2O+ – Hydration Sensitive Gel Cream Moisturizer

This gel cream moisturizer helps to soothe redness and increase hydration in sensitive skin, leaving it dewy and healthy-looking. I use this whenever my skin feels sensitive need some extra TLC.a

The older I get, the more I feel like I need to make an effort to rigorously stick to my day and night skincare routines. My skin tends to become acclimated to certain products after using for a while so I like to switch up my serums and  moisturizers depending on how my skin is feeling and what it needs at the time. Here are some of the products I’ve been using and loving.

Left to Right:

The Ordinary – Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

Whenever my skin feels dehydrated, this is my go-to serum especially at night. It retains moisture for more hydrated and supple skin.

Korres – Wild Rose Spotless Serum 15% Vitamin C

Love this vitamin C brightening serum to reduce the appearance of dark spots, dullness, and skin discolorations for a more even skin tone.

La Mer – The Eye Concentrate

This concentrated eye cream hydrates and visibly improve dark circles under eyes. I’m usually only running on 5-6 hours of sleep so this is a must in my routine.

Dermadoctor – Kakadu C Serum

Another vitamin C serum that I absolutely love. It’s enriched with Australian Kakadu plums which carries 55 times  the vitamin C found in Florida oranges. It also provides anti-aging properties and is best to use in your daytime routine.

H2O+ – Hydration Sensitive Essence

I use this essence after cleansing and toning. It hydrates, softens, and prepares sensitive skin to maximize benefits of serum and moisturizer.

Olay – Energizing Mist Face Spray

I use this mist spray to wake up my skin throughout the day whenever I feel like it needs a boost. This blend of Vitamin C, Bergamot and Vitamin B3 mist instantly quenches and energizes, leaving your face looking bright and makeup looking refreshed.

Face by Camille Rose – Age Reversing Night Serum

I use this serum at night to get my skin repaired and glowing from within. It stimulates natural collagen production and protects from sun damage.

Perfect for use under makeup, this eye cream blurs the look of fine lines and forms a protective veil of moisture on top of skin.

There’s no feeling like taking a warm bath after getting home from a long day. This is one of the ways I like to take care of myself whenever I feel overwhelmed, tired or stressed. I try to do this once a week but sometimes life happens and I forget, but taking a relaxing bath while listening to a podcast, soothing music or simply doing nothing with my eyes closed for at least 1 hour reenergizes me.

Clockwise from Left:

Sabon – Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Body Scrub

Using body scrubs have been so great for my skin. I’ve especially been loving this one by Sabon because the Patchouli/Lavender scent is soothing and it does a great job of removing dead skin cells leaving my skin feeling baby soft.

Capri Blue – Volcano Lotion

I’ve been slathering this lotion all over my body especially at night. The mix of plant based glycerin, coconut oil and shea butter is really all you need to keep your skin hydrated, especially in these cold months.

Korres – Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser

One of the best feelings in the world for me is washing the day off my face when I get home. From my makeup to all the pollutants in the city I want it all gone. Cleansing with this cream-to-foam, soap-free cleanser that’s formulated with real skin-nourishing Greek yogurt gets the job done.

Salt by Hendrix – Cocosoak Matcha

Most people like to drink Matcha but I like to soak in it. I add this detoxifying Matcha tea + moisturizng Coconut bath soak to my bath and I feel like I’m on cloud 9. It’s so soothing!

Rituals – The Ritual of Dao Shower Gel

The relaxing fragrance of White Lotus and nourshing qualities of Yi Yi Ren, which is regularly used in Chinese medicine is what makes this shower gel a must. I like to use it sparingly so it lasts.
